NUTLEY – Sophomore Anthony Fabiano and freshman Marty Higgins each had 12 points, but the Nutley High School boys’ varsity basketball team lost at Metuchen, 50-43, Feb. 25, in the final regular-season game.
Senior Antonio Olivo had six points and sophomore Matt Schettino had five for the Raiders, who moved to a 13-13 record.
The Raiders, seeded 12th, will visit fifth-seeded Cliffside Park in the first round of the state North Jersey Section 2, Group 3 tournament on Feb. 29.
