NUTLEY – Lodi Immaculate Conception senior co-captain Helyna Bissell, a Nutley native, went to work immediately against Morristown High School with her top-of-the-first inning home run.
Bissell finished 1-for-for 2 with three walks in the Blue Wolves’ 16-1 softball win, pushing her stats to .500 BA and .706 OBP so far for the season.
Bissell and IC look to continue the winning trend as they face Hunterdon Central on Monday, April 11.
Bissell signed with Morehead State University in Morehead, Ky. to play softball on an athletic scholarship.
