NUTLEY, NJ — The Nutley High School girls basketball team defeated Verona, 60-40, Tuesday night, Jan. 7, at NHS to improve to 3-4 on the season.
Senior guard Abby Scheidel scored 23 points, sophomore guard Mackenzie Albert had 12 points and senior forward Jaden Long had 10 to lead the Raiders.
Scheidel scored 25 points and senior forward Sophia Lamond and freshman Liana Minichini each had 13 points in the 57-49 win at West Essex on Jan. 10 in North Caldwell.
Scheidel had 26 points, Long had seven and Minichini had five in the 41-34 win over Newark Arts on Jan. 11. The Raiders extended their win streak to four games and improved to 5-4 overall.
