WEST ORANGE – The Seton Hall Prep varsity lacrosse team defeated Caldwell and Westfield to improve to a 6-3 record.
Griffin Westlin had five goals and Sean Leahey and Jack Sarson each had three goals in the 14-7 win at Caldwell on April 18. Jack Rutter, Jack Gorelick and Cullen Wolff each had one goal and Colin Kirst made eight saves.
Westlin had four goals and one assist and Rutter and Brian Tevlin each had two goals and one assist in the 11-9 win over Westfield on April 20 at Verducci Field. Liam McCabe scored two goals; Gorelick scored one goal; Leahey had two assists and Matt Gilbert added one assist. Kirst made nine saves.
