The township had its annual Holiday Open House and Tree Lighting on Saturday, Dec. 6, a day-long event with activities at Washington Elementary School, culminating in the tree-lighting ceremony at Town Hall on Main Street. The days activities included building gingerbread houses, photos with Santa and a Guided trolley tours through the historic downtown.
