SOUTH ORANGE / MAPLEWOOD, NJ — The South Orange–Maplewood Adult School will hold a musical fundraiser on Saturday, Nov. 13, from 7 to 9 p.m. Audience members at this livestreamed event will be able to request songs, bid on silent auction items and raise money for the SOMAS.
Livestreamed via Zoom, this event will feature New York City’s Flying Ivories Dueling Pianos, two pianists belting out an all-request sing-along extravaganza. From Billy Joel to Aretha Franklin, from Frank Sinatra to Metallica, from Johnny Cash to Katy Perry, New York’s premier dueling pianos company will play it all. Husband and wife dueling pianos team Steve and Jennie Luhmann have a combined 30 years experience of musical talent and comedy.
Local dynamic mixology duo Barlingual Chicks have also created an exclusive signature cocktail for the event, the Flying Ivories Fizz, and will offer the recipe as well as a video demonstration ahead of time.
