Paper Mill celebrates season with concert at SOPAC

SOUTH ORANGE, NJ — Paper Mill Playhouse will perform a one-night-only, season finale concert at South Orange Performing Arts Center on Sunday, June 19, at 7:30 p.m. This song and dance extravaganza will feature production numbers from your favorite Broadway shows as well as pop favorites. This year, Paper Mill Playhouse adds its newest ensemble, Voices of Paper Mill, to the program debuting “extreme a cappella” in the style of the recent “Pitch Perfect” films. This program is perfect for the entire family.

The award-winning Paper Mill Playhouse Broadway Show Choir consists of 60 young performing artists, ages 16 through 22. Over the past few seasons the choir has delighted hundreds of thousands of people across the region with its rousing renditions of Broadway, pop and classics.

“We are thrilled to present our season finale concert at the South Orange Performing Arts Center and welcome the community to join us for an inspiring evening of entertainment,” Shayne Austin Miller, Paper Mill Playhouse Broadway show choir director, said in a press release. “The Paper Mill Playhouse Broadway Show Choir is a highly-competitive, audition-based, free program that showcases the best talent in New Jersey.”

This year’s Show Choir members include: Avenel’s Tiffanie Arokiaswamy; Basking Ridge’s Angie Cocuzza and Peyton Kennedy; Bayonne’s Joshua Dunn; Belleville’s Rachel Aquino, Anthony Caruso, Susan Ramirez, Limuele Recio and Carl Sayson; Bloomingdale’s Katrina Michalewski and Katie Sondermeyer; Califon’s Anthony Fania; Cedar Grove’s Michael DiGangi and Patrick Mullen; Cedar Knolls’ Emma Wilcox; Chatham’s Neil McCaffrey; Cranfield’s Niamh O’Donovan and Sarah Parlapiano; Denville’s Justine Murray and Zachary Torkos; East Hanover’s Rachel Castaneda and Gabriella Florio; East Orange’s Dominique Diggs; Edison’s Nawal Boto; Elizabeth’s Georglana Balisage, Gabby Gomez and Jason Wells; Freehold’s Maggie Barilka, Anthony Broccoli, Lauren Carter, Mikey Friedman, Jason Skibinski and Lianah Sta. Ana; Garfield’s Edwin Perez; Garwood’s Leah Killmer; Hillside’s Christina Sarimanolis; Kearny’s Samantha Armenteros; Lebanon’s Lauren Medina; Ledgewood’s Zachary Baccaro and Molly McDonald; Linden’s Brian Corona and Welena Noel; Little Falls’ Deanna Hoy; Manalapan’s Lindsay Cherin and Alexandra Cusumano; Maplewood’s Hunter Kovacs; Millburn’s Natalie Aris and Samuel Dantowitz; Morristown’s Christiaan Cortes; Netcong’s Matthew Fralley; New Providence’s Noah Kudman; Plainfield’s Jordan Murphy; Princeton’s Eric Simon; Scotch Plains’ Brian Grimaldi; Succasunna’s Hally Smith; Summit’s Maginnis Buckley; Wayne’s Kelcie LaSalle and George Massood; Westfield’s Emma Stern; Wharton’s Eduardo Delgado; Whitehouse’s Camillo Lazarczyk; Williamstown’s Nicolette Barr; and Wyckoff’s Matthew Carp.
