WEST ORANGE, NJ — FanFest, football, District Band Night and a huge cheerleader routine featuring elementary, middle and the Mountaineer Cheer team capped off a great night of community activity at West Orange High School on Sept. 28.
It was an exciting opportunity for the youth in the community to team up and perform with the State Champion cheerleaders and National Marching Band champions.
Elementary school students and middle school cheerleaders from Roosevelt and Liberty performed an exciting routine during halftime. West Orange High School head cheer coach Olivia del Spina and team, along with PAL cheer coaches, orchestrated the event.
“We are looking forward to our newest Mountaineers joining the team,” Principal Hayden Moore said.
