MILLBURN, NJ — Congregation B’nai Israel’s L’Dor V’Dor Speaker Series presents “Jerusalem, Iran, U.S. Policy and Peace?” On Monday, Jan. 22, at 7:30 p.m., enjoy an evening with Jonathan Schanzer, Middle East policy expert. One year after the inauguration of President Donald Trump, Schanzer will provide an update on Israel’s security in the Middle East, prospects for peace and the continued threat from Iran.
Schanzer is vice president for research at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies and previously worked as a financial counterterrorism analyst at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. He has studied Middle East history in four countries and holds degrees from Emory University, Hebrew University of Jerusalem and King’s College London. He publishes widely in the American and international press and is the author of many books on the Middle East.
