SOUTH ORANGE, NJ — The Union for Reform Judaism is offering an “Introduction to Judaism” class at Temple Sharey Tefilo-Israel, 432 Scotland Road in South Orange, starting Wednesday, Nov. 9.
Why take the course? Perhaps you are Jewish yet, when you were younger, you didn’t learn what you’d like to know about the culture and religion of the Jewish people; you now seek a way to live a fuller and richer Jewish life; your partner is Jewish and you have a different faith background; your adult child is helping to raise Jewish grandchildren; and/or you are seeking conversion to Judaism.
