MAPLEWOOD, NJ — South Orange resident Brian Saber will read from his new book “Asking Styles: Revolutionize Your Fundraising” on Tuesday, Nov. 20, at 7:30 p.m. at Words Bookstore, 179 Maplewood Ave. in Maplewood.
Saber will talk about how the “Asking Styles” can help everyone — staff member and volunteer — be more comfortable and effective fundraisers for their organizations. He is a 14-year South Orange resident, a nonprofit professional for more than 35 years and president of Asking Matters, which teaches people the art and science of asking for charitable gifts. He has led trainings for Boys & Girls Clubs of America, The Salvation Army, the U.S. Olympic Committee, Overlook Hospital Foundation and Opera America, among others.
