WEST ORANGE, NJ — Three West Orange policemen were promoted at an official ceremony on Oct. 8 at the Wilshire Grand Hotel. Michael Keighter was promoted from captain to deputy chief, John Connolly was promoted from lieutenant to captain, and Jeffrey Krimmel was promoted from officer to sergeant. They were all sworn in by Mayor Robert Parisi with respective family members holding the Bible. From left are West Orange Police Chief James Abbott, Keighter, Connolly and Krimmel.
