WEST ORANGE, NJ — Five decades after the June 19, 1968, graduation at what was then called the South Mountain Arena, the West Orange Mountain High School Class of 1968 will hold its 50th class reunion on Saturday, April 28. The event will be held at Cucina Calandra, 216 US 46 in Fairfield, at 7 p.m. Attendance is charged and must be paid in advance. The reunion committee is seeking classmates as some have not yet been found. If you or someone you know is a member of the class, please email the information to MHSReunion1968@gmail.com.
For those coming a distance who would like stay overnight, the reunion planners have reserved a block of rooms at the Best Western Fairfield Executive Inn located at the same address as Cucina Calandra. Call the hotel directly at 973 575-7700. Ask for the block of rooms for “West Orange Mountain HS, Class of 1968.” Those who reserve a room should also send an email to the above email address to notify the committee.
