BELLEVILLE, NJ — The Belleville High School football team improved to 5-0 with a 38-15 win over Kearny on Friday, Oct. 4, at Belleville Municipal Stadium.

It is believed to be the firs time the Bucs have started 5-0 in program history.

Derek Leigh rushed for 210 yards and three touchdowns on 21 carries and Ray Leak ran for 121 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries. Chris Freid carried two times for 68 yards and a score.
Arturo Berly completed two of three passes for 24 yards, including a touchdown to Zier Stevens.
