BLOOMFIELD — The Bloomfield High School football team will kick off the regular season on Friday, Aug. 28, as the Bengals visit Newark Central at Shabazz Stadium in Newark. Kick off is at 7 p.m.
BHS head coach Mike Carter Sr. enters his 36th year at the Bengals’ helm.
The Bengals went 5-5 last year, qualifying for the North 1, Group 5 state sectional playoffs. They lost to East Orange Campus in the first round.
