IRVINGTON, NJ – Irvington High School senior Kearon Fearon finished 19th in the boys’ 400-meter dash final at the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association State Meet of Champions held at Northern Burlington County Regional HS in Columbus on Saturday, June 9.
Fearon, who was the lone competitor for either IHS boys’ or girls’ team, was clocked in a season-best 49.77.
The meet consisted of the top two finishers, plus wild-card berths, from the State Group meets. Fearon qualified as a wild-card berth after finishing in eighth place at the State Group 4 meet.
