Jonathan Carlon leads Irvington HS boys’ track and field at state sectional meet

IRVINGTON – The Irvington High School boys’ and girls’ indoor track and field team participated in the state North Jersey Section 2, Group 3 Championship meet at the Bennett Center in Toms River last weekend. Senior Jonathan Carlon placed sixth in the boys’ 55-meter dash with a time of 6.92 to lead the Blue Knights.

With his finish, Carlon qualified for the state Group 3 Championships on Feb. 20 at the Bennett Center.
