WEST ORANGE, NJ — Kiley Capstraw had 18 points and six rebounds and Shyleea Ryan had eight points and eight rebounds, but the No. 16 seed West Orange High School girls basketball team lost at top-seeded Randolph, 46-33, in the first round of the North Jersey Section 1, Group 4 state tournament on March 3 to finish the season with a 10-16 record.
Micah Moore scored 13 points and Gustav Hall had eight points, but the 16th-seeded WOHS boys basketball team lost at top-seeded Paterson Kennedy, 67-50, in the first round of the North Jersey Section 1, Group 4 state tournament on March 3 to finish with a 9-17 record. Maxwell Dent and Johan Atwell each had eight points, and Jermaine James and Maurice Morrison each had three points.
