WEST ORANGE – The West Orange High School fall varsity teams will begin their seasons next month.
The football team will host Union City, Sept. 9, to kick off the season.
The boys’ soccer team last season won the state North Jersey Section 1, Group 4 tournament championship and finished as state Group 4 runner-up after losing to Washington Township, 1-0. The Mountaineers finished with a 21-2 record. They will visit neighboring rival Seton Hall Prep in the season opener Sept. 10 at 10 a.m.
