WEST ORANGE, NJ – The West Orange High School girls’ varsity soccer team, which enjoyed its best season ever, featured eight players who earned All-Super Essex Conference-American Division honors.
They include:
FIRST TEAM
- Natalie Nevins, junior
- Nyah Harper, senior
- Morgan Clark, senior
SECOND TEAM
- Mya Bembry, senior
- Kaya Schultz, sophomore
- Emma Mitchell, sophomore
HONORABLE MENTION
- Hannah Villasin, senior
- Tori Rideau-Winds, freshman
The Mountaineers, under head coach Sean Devore, swept the SEC-American Division, Essex County Tournament and NJSIAA North Jersey Section 1, Group 4 tournament titles this season. WOHS finished with a spectacular 19-1-2 record, losing 2-0 to Bridgewater-Raritan in the Group 4 state semifinal that ended a 39-game unbeaten streak dating to last season when they finished 13-0-5.
