MAPLEWOOD, NJ — The Maplewood Village Alliance will host the fifth annual Maplewood Art Walk & Music Fest on Sunday, Sept. 25, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Maplewood Village. This is a rain-or-shine event.
In addition to live music by local bands, the event will feature more than 40 local fine artists displaying and selling their handcrafted, original work. Beyond the art — the event’s centerpiece — there are more than 20 village businesses, as well as various arts and cultural organizations, participating. And there are plenty of activities for children.
“This community is alive with musicians and artists. This perennial favorite event allows these artists to showcase their work and meet people in the community. This day combines the best of the arts and businesses in our area,” Julie Doran, manager of the Maplewood Village Alliance, said in a press release..
