NEWARK, NJ — Kevin Little, 35, of Irvington, was arrested on Thursday, Dec. 8, for assaulting a woman and locking her into the trunk of a parked vehicle on Wednesday, Dec. 7.
At approximately 8:17 p.m., police responded to a call involving a male striking a female on the street at South 20th Street and 19th Avenue.
]When officers arrived, they heard screams for help coming from the trunk of a 1993 Pontiac Bonneville. The officers forced the trunk open and found the 25-year-old victim, who was transported to University Hospital for treatment.
Officers canvassing the area located Little, who is a suspect in this incident. He was arrested without incident and is charged with aggravated assault.
