WEST ORANGE, NJ — Graduating seniors from the West Orange High School football team, cheerleading team and Marching Mountaineers were recognized in a pre-game ceremony on Oct. 27 that featured an enthusiastic appearance by Police Athletic League football players and a tie score with Livingston High School.

Seniors and their families were greeted by Superintendent of Schools Jeff Rutzky, Board of Education President Sandra Mordecai, board members Laura Lab and Ron Charles, and Asst. Principal Lou Della Pia.

Following senior recognition, the PAL Junior Mustangs, in grades two through eight, ran onto Suriano field to form a receiving line with the cheerleaders to cheer on the WOHS football team.

The game against Livingston ended in a 24-24 tie.
