MONTCLAIR, NJ — Comfort Keepers®, a leading provider of quality, in-home care for seniors and other adults, is celebrating its 20th anniversary. The company was originally founded in 1998, when Kristina Butler, a registered nurse working in Springfield, Ohio, discovered the need for someone to assist her patients with non-medical needs. Kristina took it upon herself to design a solution that would allow for seniors to receive care at home – a solution that she called Comfort Keepers.
Comfort Keepers now comprises a vast network of franchises across the nation and around the world, including the Comfort Keepers location in Montclair, NJ owned and operated by Pooja Chandawalla.
Comfort Keepers has been serving the greater Montclair community since September 2013. The office has won several awards including Comfort Keepers Quest for Excellence Rookie of the Year in 2014. Comfort Keepers provides in-home care services to seniors and adults in various towns in Essex, Bergen, Passaic, Union and Hudson counties. To celebrate 20th anniversary, the office organized an Open House for the community on July 18th from 2pm to 6pm.
