On Saturday, March 12, from noon to 2 p.m., at its quarterly support group meeting at East Orange General Hospital, the Essex/Union Chapter of the Polio Network of New Jersey hosts a talk by respiratory therapist and breathing trainer Betsy Thomason. She demonstrates how the outbreath enhances your strength and promotes relaxation. You will learn the basics of the BreatheOutDynamic system, which is featured in her soon-to-be-published book, “Just Breathe Out — Using Your Breath to Create a New, Healthier You.”
