MAPLEWOOD, NJ — Waste management recently announced changes to residents’ bulk item collection. In an effort to simplify the process and provide an improved experience, waste management will be making the following changes:
- One bulk item per week will be collected, replacing the one time per month collection;
- Bulk collection will occur on your regular trash day with one item per week allowed; and
- There is no need to call to schedule, just put your item out on your trash day and waste management will collect it.
The same guidelines for acceptable items will apply. If you find you have additional items in need of collection, you can contact waste management customer service at 1-866-909-4458 and schedule removal at an additional cost.
