GLEN RIDGE – Charlie DeLuca scored 12 points and Max Thompson had 10 points to lead the Glen Ridge High School boys’ varsity basketball team to a 50-40 home win over Kinnelon on Feb. 5. George Kinzler had eight points, David Weissenberger had seven points and Tyler Liddy had six points for the Ridgers, who led 31-16 at halftime.
The Ridgers improved to a 9-7 record.
In earlier action, the Ridgers lost to Belleville, 45-39, Feb. 2, at home. Thompson scored 17 points; DeLuca had eight points; Tyler Liddy had seven points; Kinzler added three points and Nick Weber-Zazzu and Ryan Liddy each had two points.
GRHS fell at Golda Och, 38-22, Feb. 4 in West Orange.
