WEST ORANGE – The following West Orange High School and Seton Hall Prep cross-country runners have earned All-Super Essex Conference-American Division honors:
Boys
First team: senior Jagger Garguilo, WOHS; senior Joseph Onubogu, WOHS; junior Malik Kosanovich, SHP.
Second team: sophomore Saverio Kaufman, SHP.
Honorable Mention: senior Mark Morrison, SHP; sophomore Daniel Gizzo, SHP; sophomore Chukwuebizie Anuamadi, WOHS, junior Derek Lim, WOHS.
Girls
First Team: freshman Alina Chant, WOHS.
Honorable Mention: sophomore Anna Favetta, WOHS; and junior Mattison Touzeau, WOHS.
The aforementioned WOHS boys’ runners and SHP runners have earned Worrall Media All-Area honors. Chant also has made All-Area honors on the girls’ side and is the All-Area co-Girls’ Cross-Country Runner of the Year along with Nutley High School sophomore Ellie McCreesh. Chant was fifth overall at the Essex County Championship meet at Brookdale Park in Bloomfield this season.
Garguilo was 11th, Onubogu was 13th and Kaufman was 14th on the boys’ side at the Essex County Championship meet.
