  1. Chet was thee toughest competitor I ever played with – he loved being on the field. I was a free safety on those ’76 and ’77 Seton Hall Prep football teams. I never got the chance to tackle anyone because Chet was there first! He hit hard, ran fast, loved the game, and was always having fun. (It was easy to have fun when you’re undefeated)! I patterned myself after him when I got to college and started all 4 years at outside linebacker!
Congratulations Chet and best of luck…

  2. Aside from playing football at Montclair State University my junior year as a wide receiver, I too had a passion of running track. Being named Captain of the ’77 season proved to be a great year for us. Outdoor season dual meet at Christian Brothers Academy always was a dual. Running 4 events that day along with my teammates proved to beat a very good team. Another memorable moment was running in the NJCTC championship at St. Joseph’s Montvalle with Mike Saunders, Anthony Holland, Steve Bigotto and myself captured a state championship running the 3200 meter relay. Thanks Coach Mielko for believing in me.
