SOUTH ORANGE/MAPLEWOOD, NJ – The South Orange/Maplewood 8U Cougars baseball team enjoyed a fantastic summer. After a slow start to the season, the Cougars rolled into the champinship game of the New Providence 8U Green League, riding a seven- game win streak. Unfortunately, they lost to the Madison Dodgers, 3-2, on the last play of the game. Nevertheless, the season proved memorable.
